Korean percussion, powered by community

NANTA

We bring the thunder of Korean drumming to festivals, cultural celebrations, and school stages across our community - sharing our heritage, welcoming new audiences, and growing the next generation of performers.

Who we are

Rhythm with a purpose

NANTA is a Korean percussion performance group bringing the energy, discipline, and spirit of traditional drumming to audiences across our community.

Through every rehearsal and performance, we create a place where culture is shared with pride and experienced together. Our work connects generations, introduces new audiences to Korean performing arts, and gives young performers the confidence to grow as artists, teammates, and community leaders.

01

Celebrate culture

Honor Korean musical traditions while presenting them with energy and relevance for today's audiences.

02

Strengthen community

Bring people together through public performances, cultural events, and shared moments of joy.

03

Develop leaders

Build discipline, teamwork, creativity, and confidence in every member of the ensemble.

Our goal: to expand access to Korean percussion, inspire the next generation of performers, and leave every stage and community stronger than we found it.

Community impact

What our drumming gives back

Every performance is more than a show. In 2026 alone, our sets reached an estimated 10,000 people across five community events. Here is what happens when NANTA takes the stage.

Culture, kept alive

Tradition shared across generations

At Lunar New Year and Korean cultural events, our janggu rhythms connect elders who grew up with these sounds to kids hearing them live for the first time. We perform so the tradition is experienced, not just remembered.

Community, brought together

Public celebrations for everyone

From the LA Reds K-Town World Cup watch party to the PV Music Fair, we perform at open public events where anyone can walk up, feel the drums, and celebrate together - no ticket required.

Confidence built one beat at a time

Members join with no experience and leave as performers who have led a section, taught a newcomer, and held a stage in front of a crowd. Discipline, teamwork, and cultural pride carry far beyond the drum.

"NANTA brought incredible energy to our event - the drums had the whole crowd on their feet. They were professional, prepared, and a highlight of the day."

Event Coordinator, K-Town Watch Party Festival

"NANTA has given my child so much more than music - confidence, discipline, and real pride in Korean culture. Watching them perform is something our whole family looks forward to."

NANTA parent

"I joined NANTA with zero drumming experience. Now I've performed in front of thousands of people. This club taught me confidence I use everywhere, not just on stage."
